WordPress for Android has been updated to version 2.3! There are several new features in this version. The look has had significant trimming with a HALO UI. Anyone already using Android 4.0 or later will recognize the interface. Those of you who used the older versions of Android get the new HALO-inspired interface!

Now there is also something called the “ActionBar”, a type of toolbar like the one you get on the site. Via this toolbar you easily access the main menu, updating of content and the ability to add new content.

• Faster loading – WordPress.com Reader now has advantage of caching for faster loading
• Improved experience in editing – Post Editor has now an expandable content box, making it much easier to navigate around the content when editing.
• Improved image upload – If a post has a picture but fail to upload the image, the post will be saved as a draft first – rather than as published – so the image upload can be corrected.
